Gary, our intrepid service manager informs me that business is booming. Unlike many computer builders, the demand for Quid’·nunc computers is not falling. Word of mouth and the quality of our computers, continues to bring customers through the door. Quid’·nunc would like to thank all of the people who stopped by November 3rd, to see and participate in our music demonstrations. The people from Thinkware demonstrated some really awesome hardware and software. The ability to compose a song, listen to it, tweak it and then print it as standard sheet music impressed most of the participants. When customers saw that they could scan in sheet music and then use it in the sequencing and notation programs, they were impressed with the endless possibilities.
The Thinkware guys also demonstrated a keyboard and sound module that could produce 1600 different, high quality sampled sounds. With the sounds being reproduced by the Edirol digital reference speakers, those attending heard just how good computer produced music could sound. When people realized how affordable these quality products were, they decided then and there to start making music with their computer.

Monopoly Tycoon from Hasbro isn't the classic Monopoly game that taught all the value of unfettered unquenchable greed. It has a real time focus and no dice. This Tycoon-ized version is much more about real entrepreneurship. Working in Atlantic City you exploit the aimless mob that lives and works there. You provide them with housing and shops where they can spend their money so you can profit. You build and watch the city develop. The graphics, especially the buildings, are stunning. You establish businesses, giving people a place to shop, as do up to five opponents. You can fight for the best locations and set prices to undercut your opponents. Monopoly Tycoon can be played as a single player or a multi-player game. It's a new look at an old standard combining an awesome real-time game with the elements of the board game. It's definitely worth a look.

Wahooooo!
Ultimate Ride is all about building and riding roller coasters. There are two modes of play to choose from: Imagineering Mode and Build Mode.
In Imagineering Mode, you are a roller coaster designer and are given the task to build roller coasters based on very specific criteria. Only your imagination can hold you back.
In the Build Mode, you create any roller coaster you can imagine, and customize with environments, backgrounds, characters and props. This mode is supposed to be governed by the law of physics. After viewing some of the sample roller coasters, I have to ask which universe's physics are we dealing with?
You can share your creation with your friends via e-mail or post it online using Ultimate Ride's coasterXchange and compete for the rank of Rollergod.
This would be a great game to hook up to a 60" TV and get the full effect of the Ultimate Ride.
